Keynote Address: "Greener
Hands, Greener Voices" 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
Marcia
Eames-Sheavley, Cornell University Department of Horticulture
This lively
presentation will talk about the garden from the perspective of young
people—what they need,
how the garden setting can provide it, and most importantly, how we
should listen to them. Many gardens draw children and youth into
activities when the garden is complete. Involving young people in
planning maximizes the experience for them, while we benefit from their
creativity!
