  School gardens in Vermont
Barnes School gardenSchool gardens listed in the directory have a food gardening component. While many school gardens function as group gardens from planting to harvest, others may include a garden camp, summer lunch program, or recreational activities. In several Vermont towns, the school garden is called a "community garden." Some school gardens have innovative names and programs to attract volunteers and youth during the summer months. The coordinators listed in the school garden directory are members of the Vermont Community Garden Network.

Please email additions or updates to this list to the Vermont Community Garden Network organizer, Jim Flint.
